Inspiring Story

Short story excellent message

A blind boy sat on the steps of a building with a hat by his feet. He held up a sign which said: 'I am blind, please help.' There were only a few coins in the hat.

A man was walking by. He took a few coins from his pocket and dropped them into the hat. He then took the sign, turned it around, and wrote some words. He put the sign back so that everyone who walked by would see the new words.

Soon the hat began to fill up. A lot more people were giving money to the blind boy.. That afternoon the man who had changed the sign came to see how things were. The boy recognized his footsteps and asked, 'Were you the one who changed my sign this morning? What did you write?'

The man said, 'I only wrote the truth. I said what you said but in a different way.'
What he had written was: 'Today is a beautiful day and I cannot see it.'

Do you think the first sign and the second sign were saying the same thing?

Natural Phenomenon

Rain is liquid water in the form of droplets that have condensed fromatmospheric water vapor and then precipitated—that is, become heavy enough to fall under gravity. Rain is a major component of thewater cycle and is responsible for depositing most of the fresh wateron the Earth. It provides suitable conditions for many types ofecosystem, as well as water for hydroelectric power plants and cropirrigation.
The major cause of rain production is moisture moving along three-dimensional zones of temperature and moisture contrasts known asweather fronts. If enough moisture and upward motion is present, precipitation falls from convective clouds (those with strong upward vertical motion) such as cumulonimbus (thunder clouds) which can organize into narrow rainbands. In mountainous areas, heavy precipitation is possible where upslope flow is maximized withinwindward sides of the terrain at elevation which forces moist air to condense and fall out as rainfall along the sides of mountains. On the leeward side of mountains, desert climates can exist due to the dry air caused by downslope flow which causes heating and drying of the air mass. The movement of the monsoon trough, or intertropical convergence zone, brings rainy seasons to savannah climes.
The urban heat island effect leads to increased rainfall, both in amounts and intensity, downwind of cities. Global warming is also causing changes in the precipitation pattern globally, including wetter conditions across eastern North America and drier conditions in the tropics. Antarctica is the driest continent. The globally averaged annual precipitation over land is 715 mm (28.1 in), but over the whole Earth it is much higher at 990 mm (39 in). Climate classification systems such as the Köppen climate classification system use average annual rainfall to help differentiate between differing climate regimes. Rainfall is measured using rain gauges. Rainfall amounts can be estimated by weather radar.
Rain is also known or suspected on other planets, where it may be composed of methane, neon, sulfuric acid or even iron rather than water.

How does Rain Happen?

Rain is the primary source of fresh water for most areas of the world, providing suitable conditions for diverse ecosystems, as well as water for hydroelectric power plants and crop irrigation.

The phenomenon of rain is actually a water circle. The concept of the water cycle involves the sun heating the Earth's surface water and causing the surface water to evaporate. The water vapor rises into the Earth's atmosphere. The water in the atmosphere cools and condenses into liquid droplets. The droplets grow until they are heavy and fall to the earth as precipitation which can be in the form of rain or snow.

However, not all rain reaches the surface. Some evaporates while falling through dry air. This is called virga, a phenomenon which is often seen in hot, dry desert regions.

Rain Advantage:

  1. Rain can make the plant growing faster
  2. Rain can make the supply of farmer's increase
  3. Rain can provides drinking water
  4. Rain will washes the dust on the ground and dirt
  5. Rain will clean the air
Rain Disadvantage:

  1. Rain will causes flood
  2. Rain probably will make people unemployed in a certain times
  3. Rain can cause erosion
  4. Rain can breeds mosquitos nests

My Holiday at Sawarna Beach

My last holiday i went to Sawarna beach at Lebak Banten many told that place was beautyfull, so me and my family decided to go there. We arrived at Sawarna beach at 3pm. Stiff and exhausted after a heavy eight hour car ride from Bandung. I desperately needed to stretch and snap my bones back into their proper place. In fact, what I really needed was a massage, but that just wasn’t going to happen, so me and my family settled for arching my back while breathing in the crisp sea air.

It was still at least an hour until dawn, so we decided to drop off our bags at the hostel. Thirty minutes later we turned to Sawarna beach to watch a beautiful sunrise. After such a long all night car journey this was just a magical way to start the day. The sunrise was spectacular, and as we sat motionless and exhausted, we watched the sky go through shades of purple, red, orange and yellow, before eventually settling on blue.

my sister

We spent the next few hours exploring Sawarna beach and simply relaxing; listening to the sound of the waves crashing against the rocks and rolling up the beach. If you come here you can’t miss the fact that Sawarna beach is popular with surfers and before we left a couple of locals decided to try their luck with the morning waves.

The countryside surrounding Sawarna beach is as beautiful as the unspoiled beach itself. Emerald green paddy fields spread out across the rolling hills and are cut up by patches of forest. Coming to places like Sawarna beach gives you a great sense of the beauty of rural Java.

Analytical Exposition

HOUSEWIVES SHOULD BE PAID FOR THEIR WORK

Introduction :

The role of women in the family and the workplace has been an issue of great change and even greater implication throughout recent history. Changing social constructions of gender roles and family roles has led to a debate over the role of women in the home and the value or lack thereof placed upon it. If the role of women is no longer always in the home should there be some compensation for those who do still agree to remain housewives (or very occasionally househusbands) in return for the work they do? The debate over housewives being paid for their work is one of entitlement, economics and social engineering.

Although this is a primarily a principled debate, one possible skeleton model for this case would be to propose that all housewives would be given equal salary from the government fund that is funded through tax payer dollars. This would be carried out in the form of tax exemptions and tax rebates that would be doled out via the institutions and processes currently in place for tax returns, auditing etc. An example of this would be the Internal Revenue Service in the United States or the Canada Revenue Agency in Canada.

Benefits :
There are many benefits in this case such as the family income is increased, decreasing criminality, happy family, happy live, better live, and better future.

Disadvantages :

If housewives are paid for their work, it'll make people especially women become lazier and lazier which can endanger the next generation behavior.

Conclusion :

The housewife should get reward for they full day working. It will be more difficult to take care of they family handlling everything from kitchen and their children. And also their working time is more longer than her husband but they got nothing, they never complain. I know that what is she doing because of love to their family but the goverment should be aware and giving reward to them. Doesnt have tobe money and even the reward is not big they will be more appreciated. Sooo where is the justice ?

Short Story

The Myth of Malin Kundang

A long time ago, in a small village near the beach in West Sumatra, a woman and her son lived. They were Malin Kundang and her mother. Her mother was a single parent because Malin Kundang's father had passed away when he was a baby. Malin Kundang had to live hard with his mother.
Malin Kundang was a healthy, dilligent, and strong boy. He usually went to sea to catch fish. After getting fish he would bring it to his mother, or sold the caught fish in the town.
One day, when Malin Kundang was sailing, he saw a merchant's ship which was being raided by a small band of pirates. He helped the merchant. With his brave and power, Malin Kundang defeated the pirates. The merchant was so happy and thanked to him. In return the merchant asked Malin Kundang to sail with him. To get a better life, Malin Kundang agreed. He left his mother alone.
Many years later, Malin Kundang became wealthy. He had a huge ship and was helped by many ship crews loading trading goods. Perfectly he had a beautiful wife too. When he was sailing his trading journey, his ship landed on a beach near a small village. The villagers recognized him. The news ran fast in the town; “Malin Kundang has become rich and now he is here”.
An old woman ran to the beach to meet the new rich merchant. She was Malin Kundang’s mother. She wanted to hug him, released her sadness of being lonely after so long time. Unfortunately, when the mother came, Malin Kundang who was in front of his well dressed wife and his ship crews denied meeting that old lonely woman. For three times her mother begged Malin Kundang and for three times he yelled at her. At last Malin Kundang said to her "Enough, old woman! I have never had a mother like you, a dirty and ugly woman!" After that he ordered his crews to set sail. He would leave the old mother again but in that time she was full of both sadness and angriness.
Finally, enraged, she cursed Malin Kundang that he would turn into a stone if he didn't apologize. Malin Kundang just laughed and really set sail.
In the quiet sea, suddenly a thunderstorm came. His huge ship was wrecked and it was too late for Malin Kundang to apologize. He was thrown by the wave out of his ship. He fell on a small island. It was really too late for him to avoid his curse. Suddenly, he turned into a stone.
